The V8 SDK is FREE!!
Now available online through the Developer Center, the Pervasive.SQL SDK is a free download to Developer Program members. It takes just a moment to join, and then you are then free to download either the full SDK or only the components you need.
The Pervasive.SQL SDK allows you to build low-maintenance, high-performance workstations that can scale from the desktop to the most demanding, high-volume client/server environments.
Pervasive.SQL SDK - Desktop to Server Tightly coupled with the Pervasive.SQL database engine, the SDK delivers both transactional and relational access methods to the application in a single box. Based on this unique model, the developer can use the data access model most appropriate for a given task. This means high-transaction volume applications can exploit the performance-optimized transactional access method while reporting, statistical and other complex query tasks are easily addressed through the relational access method.
This, the newest generation of the Pervasive.SQL SDK, delivers the latest industry standard tools and components, including features and interfaces new in Pervasive.SQL.
Designed to fit your environment Pervasive® recognizes that your application development environment is crucial to your success, so we are committed to supporting all popular development environments with the components and interfaces that they require.
Scalable and Portable The Pervasive.SQL SDK provides a common API framework that can work across the entire Pervasive.SQL family. Now, creating and deploying applications that can scale across diverse platforms and configurations is easier than ever. This common API insulates the developer from having to master several different platforms and operating systems, providing a faster time to market on a wider range of platforms. Pervasive Software® promotes the use of open standards throughout the Pervasive.SQL product family. To this end, we have strictly adhered to accepted industry standards in the Pervasive.SQL SDK, allowing you to choose the functional sets that meet your application's specific size and feature requirements.
Language/Syntax: ANSI SQL '89/'92, SAG CLI Connectivity: ODBC 2.5, OLE DB 2.0, JDBC 2.0 - Type IV Components: ActiveX controls, Java Class Libraries
A Complete Development Environment In addition to the features already detailed, the Pervasive.SQL SDK provides features to help you get the most out of Pervasive.SQL.
Pervasive.SQL Workgroup Engine
A full Workgroup engine is included with the SDK for development and testing purposes.
I*net Data Server The I*net Data Server (IDS) gives you the power to develop an application once and deploy it on multiple platforms, including LAN/WAN networks and Internet/intranet environments, without having to rewrite any code.
Support from the Developer Center
Web-based and always available, the Pervasive Developer Resource Center enhances learning by providing you with reusable code and extensive sample applications for Pervasive.SQL in a variety of programming languages. The Center features an interactive, online tutorial to help bring you up to speed fast.
